Whatever hiphop element Thousand Foot Krutch’s Christian rapcore music had before, it’s pretty much gone on Phenomenon. I like the Jesus bit. It’s especially fearless to be all Christian in a world where people who claim to respect religion shit all over true believers. Phenomenon is rather pedestrian in its overall pop/nu metal/punk execution but no worse than anything else out there, and at least these guys are rockin’ in the name of God, which is better than your average bourgeois self-pity.
