TOWNES VAN ZANDT

TOWNES VAN ZANDT A Gentle Evening With Townes Van Zandt (Dualtone) Rating: NNN Rating: NNN

If tale-spinner Townes Van Zandt ever told anyone that he played Carnegie Hall, no one would’ve believed him. But the proof is here in this pristine live recording that dates back to November 26, 1969, when the influential singer/songwriter was just 25. His jokes, however, would never improve.
