Craig Richards mixed the first Fabric compilation three years ago, and is currently the resident at London club Fabric every Saturday. The compilation CDs coming out of the label have all been top-notch, and they've touched on a wide range of music and types of DJs over the years. This one is weirder than some would expect from a Saturday-night club (or from Richards, for that matter), but for home listening it's quite entertaining for a two-disc set. Disc one is more upbeat, in the techno and house vein, and features lots of quirky German tracks (along with a contribution by Toronto expat Jeremy Caulfield). Disc two is slower and more focused on breakbeats and some electro flavours.
