This is Will Smith's first album since 02's Born To Reign flopped harder than The Legend Of Bagger Vance. Hype for Lost And Found grew when word spread that the ex-Fresh Prince was cranking his G rating up to PG-13 and getting Eminem back for the four-year-old dig "Will Smith don't gotta cuss in his raps to sell records - well I do - so fuck him and fuck you too." Sadly, Smith's alleged "dis" is really a confession that Shady hurt his feelings; MC Hitch saves his lyrical scud missiles for radio hosts on his back and a hypocritical reborn Christian. Big Willie and his ghostwriter(s) keep it realer than ever while Smith rocks surprisingly hot mainstream production and speaks on some salient topics with tight, varied, emotive and confident flows - without cussing. Corny, but too charming to hate. Fun, positive hiphop for the kids.
