VIBE A new two-floor lounge with DJs on both levels Friday through Sunday. Music ranges from retro to house to rock, with a lounge feel on the top floor and a clubbier vibe below. Booths are available for reservation (and, of course, bottle service) along with a more private champagne lounge on the second floor.
PAST LIVES This spot was most recently known as Tantric, but more people will remember it as rare groove and soulful house hot spot Una Mas. The layout is similar to its past incarnations, but with more seating, a waterfall inside the front window and a luxurious feel overall.
VALUE Expect to pay a $10 cover Friday and Saturday (unless you’re on the guest list), and an imported beer will run you $7.
BATHROOMS They’ve made the second-floor washroom unisex, which will please the guys who hated having to leave their drinks to go to the basement bathroom. They’re clean and well maintained, thanks to washroom attendants on both floors (who probably expect a tip for the clean white towels they hand you).
