Several interesting smells were permeating a crammed Silver Dollar Room when Chains Of Love hit the stage hit to make their Toronto debut.
The Vancouver five-piece is the latest band to leap into the lo-fi girl group revival fray, but live their pop pretense seems to melt away under the force of the group’s raw rock n’ roll energy and hard-working lead singer Nathalia Pizzaro, who’s forceful voice has much more personality than their dirgy, initial recordings would suggest.
