VIBE A new lounge in the heart of Little Italy combining Asian fusion food, unique cocktails and after-dinner dancing. The dining area is hidden in the back, where thin screens create private little rooms. The main section is split between the bar and a lounge area. DJs play house, hiphop or rock depending on the night, and there’s usually some dancing as last call approaches.
PAST LIFE You may remember this spot as its last incarnation, Butt’r. This time around the look is less warm and heavy, more airy, modern and eclectic.
OUTDOOR ACCESS There’s a small covered patio out front that’s licensed but seats few. The lack of a railing means you’re right up against the foot traffic on College, which is good or bad depending on how removed you like to be from the people you’re watching.
BATHROOMS As you’d expect in a classy upscale bar, the washrooms are in good condition and look nice. When things get busy, though, there’s a lineup for the facilities.
