VIBE A small bar and restaurant that opened a few months ago in the heart of Parkdale, Chino feels like a neighbourhood bar most nights. DJs play house, hiphop and funk, depending on the occasion. On the food front, expect Asian dishes, from Thai to Vietnamese.
VALUE There shouldn’t be a cover (unless it’s a special occasion), and a pint of premium domestic beer will run you $6. Food isn’t exactly cheap, but the prices aren’t out of control.
BATHROOMS Clean, bright and pretty nice-looking for bar washrooms.
CAN YOU DANCE? It looks like Chino’s still trying to find its niche, so expect more lounging than shuffling unless it’s a special event.
