VIBE Saturdays are like a combined CNE midway and rave squeezed into the dance club format. Fridays are equally crazy, but substitute the rave references with hiphop and R&B signifiers. Different sounds come out of each room in a maze of spaces, so the vibe is what you make it. Don’t expect a low-key or mature environment.

CROWD Mainstream. To fill a venue this size you can’t just cater to the heads. Expect a diverse mix of races, Fridays being more black and Saturdays more white. Mostly early-to-mid-20s.

KEY FEATURES The main room sound system is literally legendary, and the many side rooms feature better sound than most clubs’ big rooms. Lots of intimate little corners to retreat to, but there’s a sea of bodies to lose yourself in, too.

BATHROOMS Clean but a little industrial. Over-the-top design sense does not intrude. Security, although generally gracious, patrols, so don’t assume that just because the club is open until sunrise you can do just anything.

VALUE Cover is usually high, but if you come early and stay late you get your money’s worth. Expect a very limited selection of drinks at beefed-up prices.
