VIBE Undecided. These days they’re trying for a little bit of everything — R&B and hiphop on Fridays, drum ‘n’ bass on Saturdays and chunky funky house music on Sundays. Saturdays and Sundays go late (the Sunday-night crowd doesn’t start getting there until 2 am, as most work in the industry).
VALUE Not bad. Cover is in the middle range for this area, cheaper than many late-night spots, and drinks are pretty affordable. Not a very upscale place, but there are far sketchier venues out there.
BATHROOMS A bit on the industrial side, with bright fluorescent lights. Clean enough early but likely to get grungy as the night wears on.
GIMMICKS Other than the fish tanks and black lights, the decor is pretty minimal and has a slightly 80s feel. An unusual feature is the bar of protein and health drinks, which the body builders must love as well as those who’ve spent two days partying without eating.
