VIBE The venue’s operators are still figuring that out. T.O. clubs are changing names and owners more often than the Artist Formerly Known as Prince. This space, most recently known as Lincoln, has changed hands, and the owners are slowly changing its look. As things stand, you can expect to hear deep house or a mix of hiphop, R&B and house. The current crowd is professional and well dressed and tends to include a lot of women (so far, at least).
FEATURES Not much different from its previous incarnation as Lincoln, it’s still a small, swank lounge with a crisp but quiet sound system. The owners have opened up the bar a bit more by getting rid of the shelf that used to hide the bartenders.
VALUE Drinks are cheaper than they were at Lincoln, and there’s still no cover. Relatively affordable, yet the place still has an upscale feel.
BATHROOMS They’ve upgraded the plumbing, but it’s hard to tell what that actually means for your bathroom experience. Small but clean, with no washroom attendant.
