VIBE This fixture on Queen West hasn’t changed much over the years. The music is generally goth and 80s retro, with alternative rock some nights. The crowd isn’t as overtly goth as at many similar establishments and tends to be a bit older. Half might be dressed in black and sporting dubious haircuts, but the rest could fit in at any generic bar.
VALUE Pretty cheap since there’s usually not a cover and drinks are at the lower end of the spectrum for clubs ($3.75 for a domestic beer, $5.25 for a bar shot and mix).
LINEUPS Never particularly long. The doormen don’t do searches, but they do regularly ask for ID, so be prepared.
BATHROOMS Fairly big and clean. There’s even a little lounge downstairs where you could wait for your friends to finish.
