VIBE A big basement club, with one big room and two smaller ones. Known for going all night, it’s one of the few places left that carry on the full-on party experience. Saturdays feature house music that’s generally on the hard and fast side. Fridays are progressive and trance, Thursdays hiphop. Wednesdays are drum ‘n’ bass. Feels like a normal club earlier on, gets a bit weird by the wee hours.
VALUE Expect a hefty cover charge, especially if there’s an international guest. It’s not hard to get on a guest list, but they cut it off at midnight for most people. Cover charge usually goes up after midnight as well. A bottle of domestic beer goes for $4.50, a mixed drink $5.25 (prices may be higher in the VIP room).
BATHROOMS Early on they’re reasonably clean, but by 5 am they’re getting pretty grungy.
LINEUP You can wait in line on weekends for a pretty significant time, especially if you get there just before the guest list gets cut off at midnight. If you don’t want to stand around, get there either really early or really late. The search at the door is also pretty thorough.
