VIBE Not really a dance club, Stones Place is a Rolling Stones tribute bar that features bands on Wednesdays and gets used for quirky parties like the gay hiphop night Big Primpin’ and indie rock dance party Santa Cruz. Large lounge area in the back small dance floor in the front. Weird but fun.
VALUE The dance party nights are usually cheap ($5 or less), but there is a coat check that’s sometimes mandatory. Drinks are affordable (domestic beer $4.75, mixed drinks $5.25). This is Parkdale, after all.
BATHROOMS Decent-sized and reasonably clean, even on busy nights. Plus cute little sofas so you can sit and wait for your friends.
LINEUP Usually reaches capacity early on the dance party nights, which means you could be waiting in line indefinitely. Come early to to be sure of getting in.
