VIBE Evolving since it opened, but the two-tiered club still focuses on a mixture of funk and deep house as well as some hiphop nights and occasional rental bookings. In the past, some pretty big-name DJs have played intimate gigs here, but that kind of thing hasn’t happened as frequently lately.
VALUE Cover is generally $10 except for special events. $4.50 will buy you a domestic beer, which is fairly cheap for a dance club.
BATHROOMS Clean and functional, a bit institutional. The men’s washrooms are downstairs, which can be weird when it’s not busy enough to open the basement – walking across an empty and silent dance floor is a bit eerie.
LINEUP Not much these days, except if there’s a big name coming in, in which case, get there early. If you look young, bring ID. They check pretty often.
