VIBE A small, grungy Greek/Jamaican restaurant/bar on the northern tip of Kensington Market. You can usually hear roots reggae being DJed over the massive sound system (which dwarfs those in clubs three times the size), but a new Thursday night focuses on a more open-format approach. Pool table and back patio.
VALUE Although the food isn’t that cheap, $11 pitchers of hemp beer is a pretty good deal. There may be a small cover charge ($5 or under) for special events, but not normally.
BATHROOMS Institutional-looking but reasonably clean and functional. Big enough to be sufficient even when the club’s rammed.
LINEUP Most of the time it’s pretty mellow, but special events may hit capacity, in which case you’d have a hard time getting in.
