1136 Queen West
VIBE A cute little neighbourhood bar in the rapidly changing Queen and Dufferin area. The feel is somewhat pub-like, but more stripped down and refined and without the tacky knickknacks. It's not a dance bar, but on weekends DJs play indie rock and eclectic mixes of lounge music. There's also a piano in the back corner, and the club occasionally brings in live bands.
VALUE There's no cover, and the drinks are in the same price range as other hot spots in the area, although more expensive than the grungier local watering holes.
BATHROOMS Fairly clean, but kind of small, nondescript and industrial-looking.
LINEUP It's unlikely you'd ever have to stand in a line here. This is where many people go when they get sick of waiting in line for the Drake a few doors down.
