Donovan Woods’ 4th studio album follows his JUNO Award-nominated Don’t Get Too Grand, and sees the songwriter in top form. Produced by James Bunton (Evening Hymns, The Wooden Sky), the album features “On The Nights You Stay At Home” which spent four weeks atop CBC Radio 2’s Top 20 charts.
After receiving international attention for his song “Portland Maine,” as recorded by Tim McGraw, his album track “Leaving Nashville” has recently found its way on to the debut solo album from Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley. Rolling Stone called the song “a stark, stunning ballad…”, while Billboard described it as “an emotional wallop.”
Donovan Woods is currently on a national tour visiting 28-Canadian cities supporting Matt Andersen.
