When was the first time you were here?

I first visited Toronto back in 1993 on the Gang Starr Hard To Earn Tour. It has always been ill ever since.

Where’s your favourite place to hang out?

My favourite place in Toronto is anywhere with a pulse – somewhere with music, drinks, action of any kind.

Where do you find records?

I never went digging in Toronto, but I will be hooking up with my dude (Canadian hiphop producer) MoSS. He will take me to heaven. We are addicted to records.

Have you ever made any beats/done any production, recording here?

Never, but don’t count me out on that one.

Who’s your favourite Toronto hiphop artist?

I have always liked Kardinal Offishall for his amped-up style and wordplay. He got skills.

What do you love the most about Toronto?

I love the culture, the West Indian scene, the cool people, the lovely weed… and the food. I love to eat.
