You can catch her Friday (April 25) at Wrongbar (1279 Queen West), DJing as part of the 12-inch release party for her band, Fritz Helder and the Phantoms. After that she’ll be in Europe for the next month with the band, shooting a video and playing some club gigs on that side of the pond.
WHAT
“Hubba-bubba unicorn realness, always with a dash of classic house.” Roughly translated, she means modern electro and indie dance with one foot in old-school house music.

“In Mississauga, back in 99 at a drum ’n’ bass party I threw.” Yeah, we were surprised as well to hear she used to throw d’n’b parties. Who knew there was so much crossover between the old rave and the nu-rave?
