Iggy Pops legendary tour rider

Iggy and the Stooges are famous for many things, and one of their more unusual claims to fame is their legendary tour rider.

For the uninitiated, a “rider” is a list of instructions and needs that a band provides to ensure that when they arrive to the gig everything is taken care of.

For some hair metal bands this meant groupies, drugs, and absurd food/alcohol requests, but Iggy Pop has been known to take a more unorthodox approach. There’s a notorious version of his rider that’s been floating around the internet for years, but we’ve obtained the current rambling stream-of-consciousness incarnation that was submitted for the band’s NXNE appearance this Saturday (June 19) at Yonge-Dundas square.
