Mustafa announces Toronto concert at Massey Hall

Mustafa

Rising Toronto music star Mustafa will play his first major hometown concert at Massey Hall.

It’s a fitting venue for the 25-year-old singer/songwriter from Regent Park, who is having a breakout year. After releasing his debut album When Smoke Rises in May to glowing reviews, he made his live TV debut on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and landed on the Polaris Prize shortlist.

Mustafa’s December 1 at the legendary concert hall marks his first Toronto show as headliner. Tickets go on sale to the public on September 13 at 10 am via the Massey Hall website. Pre-sales go live on September 11. Don’t sleep as this show will surely sell out fast.

The concert, which is being co-promoted by Manifesto, adds to Massey Hall’s already stacked lineup of reopening gigs, which are set to kick off in November with Gordon Lightfoot.

The historic 127-year-old Toronto venue closed in 2018 to undergo a major restoration that will integrate it into a multi-stage music complex called Allied Music Centre.
