No one is willing to give official confirmation, but we have it on very good authority that Neil Young was in town last week recording with local heroes the Sadies for an upcoming tribute to the Band.

We sure hope this isn’t idle gossip, as not only are the Sadies a great band in their own right, but also the go-to backing band for singers like Neko Case, John Doe and others. We can only hope that Young feels the same way.
