Pressed to describe exactly what "interactive" means in the context of NXNE's Interactive conference, it's easy to equivocate like Homer Simpson trying to describe a Muppet. ("Well... it's not quite technology... and it's not quite the internet. But, boy, it sure does....") NXNE Interactive is a bundle of things officially described as "the intersection of media, technology and culture with the world's best business visionaries, innovative artists, bright minds and creative leaders." More simply, NXNE Interactive is a marketplace of ideas.
At NXNEi, content creators, coders, artists, developers, entrepreneurs, advertisers and business types collide in order to push at the frontiers of digital and interactive technology. This year, the conference assembles luminaries like Kobo's Mike Serbinis, Etsy's Nada Alic, Toronto comedian Rhiannon Archer, former Hole and Smashing Pumpkins bassist Melissa Auf der Maur, broadcaster Alan Cross, NXNE's own Mike Tanner and dozens of other speakers.
