Toronto is one giant bash for six days, when the streets spill over with sanctioned and non-sanctioned parties.
The festivities kick off Tuesday, June 11, at the Drake Hotel (1150 Queen West) with an opening bash that goes from 7 pm to midnight.
A just-announced, free day party at the Beaver (1192 Queen West) on Thursday, June 13, includes Hussy, Mexican Slang and Dirty Frigs.
There are four free Arts & Crafts-presented pop-up shows Wednesday through Saturday at the A&C's 10th anniversary HQ at 1093 Queen West. Highlights include Halifax's Paper Beat Scissors on Wednesday, June 12, and Toronto's Decades on Friday, June 14.
On Saturday, June 15, Toronto-via-Halifax DJ Skratch Bastid spins at his third annual BBQ at the Roundhouse at Steam Whistle Brewing.
Bastid will also welcome a special guest emcee. We don't know who, but his recent collabs with London, Ontario's Shad are really tight. Just sayin'.
Cameron Street shuts down Saturday and Sunday so artists - including Jadea Kelly - can jam outside.
Did we mention that select bars serve until 4 am? Stock up on Gatorade, bananas and Tylenol. Put them beside your bed, now.
