They’ve gone from small-time local hardcore band to, umm, international-touring hardcore band. They’ve signed to Matador Records and have been name-checked by just about every taste-making blog and mag you can think of. They incited a mini bridge riot at last year’s SXSW, their last two albums are nothing short of brilliant, and some have even gone so far as to call them the future of the genre. If that’s not enough reason to love Fucked Up, then how about a four-day Halloween residency at Sneaky Dee’s? An awesomely rare combination of DIY integrity and talent.
