VIBE A brand new mainstream club, divided into three rooms: Purgatory, Hell and Heaven. Hell (also known as Machinehead) is the rock-‘n’-roll- themed basement, Purgatory the main floor (house, top 40) and Heaven the bright and airy top floor, which has a second VIP level overlooking its dance floor (also mainly top 40 and mainstream dance).
PAST LIFE Last known as Money, it has reinvented itself with a new feel and concept, retaining that commercial club ambience.
VALUE The cover was $15 for guys and $10 for girls when we visited, and a domestic beer cost $6. Your mileage may vary depending on the night.
PATIO ACTION There’s a decent-sized back patio with its own bar. Unfortunately, you end up having to listen to the tunes from the two lower floors simultaneously, which doesn’t make for much of a vibe.
