WHERE CAN I HEAR HIM? Check him out tonight (Thursday, April 5), at the Social (1100 Queen West), opening up for Diplo’s Brazilian friends Bonde Do Role. On Saturday (April 7) he DJs at the fourth anniversary of Big Primpin at Stones Place (1255 Queen West). He also does a monthly night at the Drake Hotel (1150 Queen West) as one-half of the Skeletwinz the third Saturday of every month.
WHAT DOES HE PLAY? Of the quick and snappy ways of describing his style, “fashionable music” is probably the most efficient and accurate. This might include Southern rap, electro, Baltimore club, pop music or metal, depending on the gig and whatever his current obsession is.
WHAT’S HE LISTENING TO? Currently the soundtrack to his MySpace page is Hitten, by the Swedish girl group Those Dancing Days. He’s also currently loving Santogold’s Creator, Dizzee Rascal’s Pussyhole, Chromeo’s Tenderoni, Miss Odd Kidd’s Weed, Wine & Wankers and Jordin Sparks’s I Who Have Nothing.
