The Sadies break a leg

The Sadies have been forced to postpone the remainder of their tour when singer/guitar player Dallas Good broke his leg in Saskatoon on Sunday.

Hours before they were scheduled to perform, Good slipped on a patch of ice and fell.

Not to disappoint their fans, Dallas’s brother Travis and rhythm section Mike Belitsky and Sean Dean played gig as a trio. But the show will not go on, at least not yet. The group is currently on their way back to Toronto, cancelling the remainder of the their Western Canada swing for the time being.

While no rescheduled dates have been announced for Vancouver and Whistler, The Sadies will return to Saskatoon on June 22, before heading to Calgary, Edmonton and Lethbridge. Considering the band’s seemingly endless capacity for life on the road, it probably won’t be long before they announce make-up dates for those other shows, too.

See the band’s website for more dates.
