Matt & Kim
Friday (October 5) at the Phoenix (410 Sherbourne), 8 pm, all ages. $21.50. TW. See review.
While it's true that their approach doesn't always work that well on recordings, Matt & Kim's contagious enthusiasm makes for a great live show. Hell, at the 2009 NXNE Festival, even though food poisoning had Kim running backstage to puke between songs, they still managed to put on some of the most memorable shows of the fest.
