This week’s must-see Toronto shows

Ghost B.C.

Don’t let the new suffix fool you. Ghost B.C. are still the same old Ghost: ridiculously satanic, gloriously theatrical and catchy as all, er, hell. Although the doomy, anonymous Swedes’ new album, Infestissumam, disappointingly puts lush synth layers ahead of slaying, catchy riffage, the infusion of major-label cash has surely also sent their live show completely over the top. Bring on the swinging thuribles of incense, the altars and stained glass backdrops, and those terrifying hooded, face-concealing robes.
