Apparently, the Shins' next release is going to be a 12-inch contribution to Third Man Records' ongoing live-album series. Taped last October at Nashville's Blue Room, it'll feature mostly songs from their recent Port Of Morrow. Makes sense, considering they've been touring that album extensively since its release in March 2012. On their second go-around through town, the Portland, Oregon-based indie pop band graduate to the Sound Academy, with Syracuse orch-rockers Ra Ra Riot in the opening slot.
