Tiger beat

We’re used to seeing cats in Kensington Market. But not quite like this one.

Early Thursday morning, Toronto rapper Tasha the Amazon hosted a special guest on-set for her Thru The Fire video shoot.

Accompanied by two handlers from his home in the Bowmanville Zoo, a Bengal tiger (who, according to their website, came to them after the OSPCA found him in an exotic dancer’s apartment in Toronto) named Robbie sniffed around the intersection of Kensington Avenue and St. Andrew Street, and got acquainted with Tasha before she walked him down the street on a leash.

Police were on hand to keep curious bystanders at bay. This will be Tasha’s fifth video from her FiDiYootDem mixtape, and Robbie has hundreds of film and TV credits.
