What’s the best rumour you’ve ever heard about yourself?This one time in grade 3 there was a rumour that I could run faster than a cheetah. That was a good one because I believed it myself.
What’s the strangest experience you’ve had onstage?We once played a show in Karlgoorlie, a mining town in the West Australian desert where the population is 80% men. When you walk down the street you have the distinct feeling that the normal rules of society don’t apply there. No-one in the pub was interested in us, except for one woman who got on stage, approached me from behind and went for a grope between my legs… mid-song. Let’s just say it wasn’t cool in a Springsteen/Dancing in the Dark kind of way.
What actor would you want to play you in a film about your life and why?Julian McMahon. One, he is the spitting image of me two, he’s also an Aussie made good in Hollywood.
What part of your body do you like the least?My spazzy wrists and my stunted fingers.
Best high?Trucker’s speed.
