New digs for Rotate This

Beloved record store will move to Dundas and Ossington next month

Indie record store Rotate This is moving next month.

After two decades on Queen West, nearly seven of them at current location 801 Queen West, the store will pack up and relocate to the Dundas and Ossington area at the end of February.

According to a post on Rotate’s website, the owner was considering opening a second location but ultimately decided to move after a spot opened up.

“Currently we’re aiming to be open at the new location around the end of February, and we’ll be certain to give you all the specifics as we get closer to the actual opening day,” he wrote.

“As well, as we absolutely detest moving thousands of records. Do keep your eyes and ears peeled for some ridiculous SALE dates, where we try to coerce you into buying as many records as possible so we don’t have to move them.”
