Condolences to the family of Tory cabinet minister Al Palladini, who died last week 57 years young. But respect for the dead is one thing, reverence another.
The media fawned all over Palladini last week. One columnist wrote that the Queen’s Park press gallery just liked the guy, admired his guts and laughed at his laughter.
Seems we weren’t in on the joke.
While he clamped down on unsafe transport trucks on provincial highways, Palladini also had a hand in the Tories’ regressive social policies that have made life miserable for thousands of Ontarians.
