A group calling itself www.IndyOut.com is threatening to pedal to Mayor Mel’s house in protest if this weekend’s annual Indy car-racing spectacle isn’t cancelled.
Oh, the noise and obnoxious fumes. Says organizer Tooker Gomberg, “If the city really wanted to send a message that they’re serious about smog, they would put forward a car-free weekend instead.”
A demo begins at 2 pm today (Thursday, July 13) at City Hall.
