We’re a city of concrete slab towers. The further you go from the core, the bleaker it gets. But these outlying areas have heavily concentrated populations ready for a rethink. The city has announced four pilot sites for small-?scale markets, green retrofits, improved public spaces, managed water and energy and urban agriculture.
