Brazilian blowout

A sea of green and yellow took over Dundas Square on Monday for a celebration of the first annual Brazilian Day Canada.

The free event featured two of Brazil?s biggest artists, Carlinhos Brown and Elba Ramalho. (Ramalho, pictured below, posted about the day on her blog, complete with video.)

The performers played alongside local Brazilian artists from the Toronto area. The festival was held on Labour Day Monday, which also marked Brazil?’s Independence Day.
