Busier than Bumblebee

I’ve written this twice in the last few days, but I keep getting interrupted, and then by the time I return to the laptop, someone’s closed the window. And so I must start again.

I’m on the show floor pimping UDON’s Art of Capcom book. We’re down to less than 20 of the 300 we brought and going strong.

It’s crazy to think that over 100,000 people are filtering through here over four days, but this is the biggest N. American convention for comics, but the film, television and video game presence is stronger than ever.

Beside my booth is the WB – people with giant 2’x2′ Smallville bags are a common occurence, as are people carrying spartan shields promoting 300 weaving in and out. Just kitty corner to the Udon booth is Sony. Capcom and Square Enix are just down the aisle. A train of Mila Jovovich look-alikes just walked by.

Welcome to the San Diego Comic Con.
