Went to the Mass Effect launch last night and Penny Arcade gripes of wait times aside, it looks really, really good. It hits the streets today and our review will be in print next week. The faithful following from KOTOR (both I and II), should squeal in glee – right before BioWare echoes them to the bank. Mass Effect promises to be a mammoth of a sales driver for the Albertan crew.
Ubisoft‘s Canadian studio just launched Assassin’s Creed last week. Unlike Mass Effect, it’s non-exclusive and available for both PS3 and the 360. 500,000 copies of the game sold in North America alone in the last week. Ridiculous.
