Nice idea to have a gender-reversed Cinderella, but this young-audiences show could do with better writing and sharper performances. Even a bit of puppetry doesn’t draw the kids into the action until partway through the show, while the most engaging actor isn’t a central character but rather Tara Howe as the princess’s chancellor.
