The City of Vancouver responded to the passing of Bill C-36 today, expressing concern that the new law will endanger sex workers and push them to the fringes of society.
The City also urged the federal government to refer the bill to the Supreme Court to make sure it complies with the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
