Coming Soon | Dawn of Mana

You know, I remember how exciting it was to play Secret of Mana, back in the day on my SNES. RPG, multi player, and all around great game. Not quite Chrono Trigger, but then, CT wasn’t multi player either.

So this morning, the official release tells me Dawn of Mana, (for PS2), will hit stores on May 22, 2007 as a follow up. For you collectors out there, run off and pre-order to secure your copy of Breath of Mana, (not to be confused with Breath of Fire), a sampler disc of soundtrack selections. They tell me to hit up Amazon.com or EB Games to snag this gift-with-preorder, but I don’t see anything (yet) on Amazon informing me of my options.

Also coming is Heroes of Mana, to be released on the DS in “late summer.” Though the Nintendo funded company Brownie Brown, is developing Heroes of Mana, (good), I’m still recovering from the tedious Children of Mana, released not too long ago, (bad).

I’ll wait and see on the PS2 Dawn of Mana. I’d complain about why it was not made for PSP, but I know why. If you could sell to an install base five times larger (numbers from VG Charts), than the other, I’d probably opt for that platform too.
