Marc Coward wrote lyrics for a hypothetical Toronto version of Billy Joel’s We Didn’t Start The Fire.
He posted them to the UrbanToronto forums, and then Jeremy Nichols actually went and recorded the song. It’s an astonishing four-minute fever dream of the last three and a half years in Toronto. The perfect accompaniment to Crazy Town.
