Free* Book Of Mormon tickets!

Didn’t get Book Of Mormon tickets yesterday?

You’re not alone. According to Twitter (and the Globe), plenty of folks trying to get tickets to the upcoming Mirvish production of Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s Latter Day Broadway musical were left out in the cold, greeted instead with server timeouts and 505 errors on Mirvish’s ticketing site, the result of automayed programs used by “ticket resellers” to buy out huge blocks of tickets at a time.

If you left empty-handed, fear not: some saints are popping up on Craigslist selling Book Of Mormon tickets at $600 a pair. Well, rather, they’re selling Book Of Mormon CDs for $600, which come packaged with two free tickets. What a steal! It’s kind of like those weed delivery guys that will sell you a Ladder 49 DVD-R with some weed inside it for $40, which we have for sure never done.

You can also get tickets through more official ticket resale sites, which are somehow legal, for up to $1313 a pop. Alternatively, if a night at the legitimate theatre is too rich for your blood, maybe you’re interested in two obstructed view Patti Smith at the AGO tickets for only $500?

People are shitty.
