the tangled mess of ocap bail reviews continued in Whitby superior court this week, with defendants and defence counsel Peter Rosenthal declaring a minor victory.
Laura Shilliday, John Mura, James Porter and Jeff Shantz had their non-association conditions dropped, so they are once again free to communicate with each other and with OCAP members. But a third condition barring them from attending unlawful demonstrations was replaced with a stricter condition prohibiting them from attending any demonstrations until their trial for the June 12 “mock eviction” at Tory MPP Jim Flaherty’s office.
