As Hayden got set to launch his second album and first major label release, the laid-back singer/songwriter spoke to NOW about his painstaking creative process and what it’s like to play to large audiences of adoring fans – mostly female (page 32 of the issue). Fifteen years later, he’s still taking his time with his craft, having released only five discs in the interval, including the recent Us Alone (see review, page 43). The new work proves he’s comfortable with the style that made him famous he’s still very much the bedroom bard and master of intimacy.
