Sam Sniderman, known to just about everybody as Sam the Record Man, died Sunday, September 23. His iconic record store at Gould and Yonge – staffed by a boatload of well-informed nerds – drew music lovers from all over the continent, especially on Boxing Day, when Sniderman slashed the prices on his superb stock.
