Green project

Solar power

The T-Dot is the first city in North America to purchase large quantities of solar power to offset our energy-chuggin’, and at no extra cost. The city doesn’t even have to buy the solar hot water heater tech itself, but instead is working with a new breed of renewable energy companies called “solar utilities.” Peeps like Mondial Energy pay all the upfront costs of solar panels, for example, and charge only for the clean green power warming your water. It’s win-win. The groundbreaking micro-grid format is already drawing eyeballs from all over the continent.
